Season one
One law at a time, each told through the real story behind it: a minister who outshone his king, an emperor who trusted the wrong friend, a deputy who argued for peace, a dancer who invented herself, an emperor who walked out of exile through an open door.
The stories come from the historical record, including the parts historians still argue over. Where an account is disputed, or closer to legend, the film says so. The point is never the trivia. It is what the story teaches about people and power.
Behind the channel
Lessons in Ink Publisher is the channel's own publishing tool. It runs on the channel owner's computer and is used only for the Lessons in Ink YouTube channel.
When a film is finished, the Publisher uploads it to our YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API, together with its title, description, thumbnail, subtitles and chapter list. It schedules the time the film goes public and adds it to the season's playlist. It does the same for each film's trailer, published as a YouTube Short.
No one else. It is not offered to the public, it has no users besides the channel owner, and it never reads or changes anyone else's account. How it handles the one account it touches is set out in the privacy policy.
